Substitutes

We occasionally need to substitute one variety for another. Here’s why:
• The seeds are defective
• I accidentally damage the plants
• I drop a tray (or two), destroying many of the plants in a variety.

We try to substitute a variety that’s similar in size, color and type. This year’s substitution varieties are described below.
